I have had a tough week and very few of you have decided to join the yahoo pick’em group this year as well. So, since I assume I\i’m writing this for the hard-core degenerates and fellow casual bettors I’ll get right to it.
Buffalo @Nevada -11.
Buffalo lost at home to FCS U Albany Great Danes because the Redshirt freshman QB fumbled on the goaline and Nevada barely beat Cal Poly at home in double OT and got rocked by Notre Dame the past week. I think this will be very close with Buffalo having two weeks to prepare and almost winning the game last year at home and as these teams are very even on offense and Defense. This game will be decided by a TD or less. Pick:Buffalo+11. Streaming on twitter.
Colorado@ Michigan -18
Colorado is undefeated having win an instate rivalry with Colorado St. and trouncing a FCS opponent both by 35+ pts. Michigan however is rolling thru lessor competition in UCF and Hawaii. Both by 40+ this will be the wolverines toughest game in September with Penn st coming next week. Pick :Michigan -18.
I lay here because I just don’t believe Colorado is ready to play their best football after two warm up games and playing in this hostile of an environment and Michigan just has it this year like Alabama in 13′.
Long shot pick:
Money line Kansas +950 @ Memphis -21.
Kansas lost to Ohio U not Ohio St. which is why this is a crazy long shot but with most of the talent from last year gone and new head coach in Memphis it’s all possible they win outright with some luck and winning the turnover battle and playing their offense in a hostile environment. Kansas crazy long shot.
Virginia +165 @ UCONN -4.5.
Too bad this isn’t an early college basketball matchup. but that being said UCONN has a good fan base for their football team. But evenly matched in what I consider the two lowest power conferences. ACC and AAC. Pick: Virginia.
USC +265 @ Stanford -8.5.
All of the last 5 match ups the underdog has won outright. This could continue the streak. USC has talent and can save the season and get back into the AP top 25 with a win here and solidify a resume for another rose bowl campaign and winning the PAC-12 south. Pick: USC+265.
