Good Afternoon Gamblers and I wish you a very happy Thanksgiving!
I’ve got a lot to be thankful for this year. A healthy family, decent work, a few friends and a 4 or 5 game parlay from NCAA basketball that I hit back in March. Probably happened, maybe. I gotta write more about NCAA ball this year!
I went 2-3 last week. I’m not going to ruin Thanksgiving with another poor performance!
As always, you’ll also be able to find my picks on pickmonitor.com, it requires you to set up an account, but it’s free. Whatever!
On the the NFL picks!
Dallas (-6.5) Over Washington – Dallas is at home, it’s fucking Thanksgiving and the Cowboys are actually good. They’re running the ball or throwing it against everyone. Their D is shaky at times, but I don’t think the Washington Offense is as good as advertised. Check their DVOA. Pretty Even. I think the home field and just being the better team will give Dallas the 7 points and the W.
San Diego (+0.5) Over HOUSTON – Chargers are coming off a BYE, Texans are coming off an ass whipping they took in Mexico City vs the Raiders. Chargers can’t stop anyone on D but they run a good Offense and Houston is terrible on D. I’m going with the better O in this one.
Seattle Over TAMPA BAY (+5.5) – Seattle is the leagues best DVOA team. Tampa is a hot and cold Offense. I like Seattles Offense, Prosise and Rawls are a great RB combo, Russel Wilson is still a top 5 QB, Seahawks win, easy.
New England Over NY JETS (+7.5) – Jets suck, Tom Brady cannot be contained. I’d also suggest using a bunch of Patriot players in your daily fantasy lineups.
DENVER Over Kansas City (-3.5) – Kansas City lost at home to Tampa, ended their 10 game home winning streak. Denver and KC are both struggling on offense lately. KC haven’t been able to break 20 points since week 8, and Denver is coming off a BYE, playing at home and they’ve got a good D that is facing a weak O. I’m going Denver.
Good luck out there, enjoy your turkey and please remember to take enough leftovers to make a nice thanksgiving sandwich!
