For the third year in a row, and for the first time in NBA history, the same two teams are meeting in the NBA finals.
Golden State looks better than last year, going undefeated in the playoffs. Cleveland looked great losing only 1 game in the playoffs.
For Game 1, I’m going with Golden State -7.
I’m also playing the under 225.5 points total for game one.
For the series I’m putting down a small bet on Cleveland at +225.
Sure Cleveland might appear to be over matched at first glance but that might also just be lazy thinking.
The Cavs might make it work, and it’s a decent price at 2.25 to 1 for what I think is a better than 50% shot at winning the title.
I know some fans think Golden State his the title locked up, that this Warriors squad are a super team that won 73 games last year and then added Durant.
However, I’m predicting a 7 game series.
Yes it involves a lot of ‘If’s’ for it to go more then 6, but they’re all reasonable ‘If’s’.
If Kevin Love can keep his game elevated on offense against Draymond Green.
If LeBron can guard Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving can guard Stef Curry, and T. Thompson can guard JaVale McGee, then the Cavs have a real chance at an upset.
I think it’s possible. I’m betting on it.
Golden State in game 1, we’ll check out game two lines and make a bet on Saturday.
Good luck out there!
